As the name suggests, the clutch & brake pedal support provides mounting and support for both the brake and clutch pedals on a manual transmission car, or for the brake pedal alone on automatic transmission cars. Sep 26, 2012 · Dan, Thank you very much! I checked and my original 1968 pedal support has the hole for the longer power brake pedal. I was more concerned with the threaded inserts at the firewall and that I needed to do something with those but from what you are saying I do not.

The brake pedal is set down into the support frame, and the clutch pedal is inserted from the side, through the brake pedal, and through the other side and secured with the clip. The clutch pedal spring is reinstalled and the push rods are reinstalled.

May 22, 2006 · Is there an easy way to remove and install a clutch/brake pedal support without having to remove everything under the dash? I'm in the process of switching a C4 to a Toploader and have bought a new clutch support with pedals ready to be installed as one unit.
