No, the Hub needs to be specially designed to work with Superfast Fibre so you can only use the BT Smart Hub or the BT Home Hub 5, Hub 4, Hub 3 or the earlier BT Infinity Hub. The Hub 3 and Hub 4 also need to have an Openreach modem that was fitted by an engineer. BT Home Hub 1.0, 1.5 or 2.0 do not support Superfast Fibre.

BT infinity customer support is a joke Called BT 9 days ago as my upload speed has been under 500kbps most days and got told it was possibly a fault on the box outside my house. Engineer apparently went outside 3 days after the call and tried to contact me saying he needed to come inside the property.
