Apr 13, 2019 · I downloaded the latest available NASNavigator2.93, and it showed that the Terastation was in Emergency mode. The Terastation displayed the "EMDB3” code. The notice on the Navigator was "EM mode was detected. Update firmware or contact your local technical support". I downloaded the latest TSUpdater and firmware (hs-dhtgl-up_214_102).

Jan 17, 2014 · How to upgrade and add larger drives to a Buffalo Terastation For some time I had wanted to upgrade my Terastation from a 1TB capacity to 3TB. This wasn’t really a pressing issue until one of the drives failed, leaving me with the dilemma of paying for a new 1TB disk or biting the bullet and going for two new 3TB drives.

I have acquired a 2nd hand Buffalo Terastation pro 2, I've replaced the drives with largers ones. It wont boot (because of the new drives) and it also wont boot into EM Mode. I'd like to attempt to use TFTP to get it into EM Mode, however I need to extract the contents of a couple of files in the firmware to do so, but they are password protected.
