It stop and hang and a big blue screen is showing these message: HARDWARE MALFUNCTION CALL YOUR HARDWARE VENDOR FOR SUPPORT NMI : PARITY CHECK / MEMORY PARITY ERROR THE SYSTEM HAS HALTED I left it on hibernate on the bed ( shouldnt do that it obstructs cooling vents) and when I booted It showed me the same thing.

May 13, 2008 · maybe, some external drives are simply internal drives with their own case and an IC to convert SATA/IDE to USB. If your drive is like that you could disassemble the external enclosure and connect the drive inside to your computer in the same way you would a standard hard drive.
