May 29, 2007 · Attacked is defined as any unit, except for the one where the support is being given, attempting to move into that space. Supporting a unit giving support doesn't prevent it from being cut if it's attacked by even a single unit. However, it may prevent it from being dislodged. Support is cut in both of your examples.
