I would like to put a slate-topped pool table (heavy) in the room but I am concerned about the weight of it. Feb 03, 2011 · Depends on how much of a load the floor is rated for and how big the room is. Be prepared to have to re level the table every week for the first three months or so. Pool tables are very heavy if they're any good and the floor will settle some.
