Jun 22, 2017 · I use some hotkeys that I've bound to my mouse (lots of mouse buttons that I use to switch tabs, page up/page down, etc). I also use RES on reddit and thought it would be nice to modify the mouse buttons for when I'm on reddit (but only on reddit) so I can scroll through posts/comments and open and close pictures using just my mouse.

Apr 15, 2012 · I believe that by design, any new instance of a script which is started by the Reload command will look for and terminate a previous instance of the script. Adding or removing #SingleInstance should not affect the behaviour, except that if there are multiple instances, Reload might terminate the wrong one.

Dec 16, 2014 · You could argue that this is a mistake by the user: they should have remembered to add #SingleInstance Ignore. But I think it supports the argument that the current default is safer and more friendly. I suspect others may feel this way too; but if you feel strongly about it, we could have a poll to assess how people actually use #SingleInstance.
