Jan 16, 2014 · As stated, you will need to be able to boot from a USB device if your machine supports it in the BIOS. Or, you will need to boot from a floppy and load a DOS USB storage driver. Once you have gone that far you will need my FIX95CPU update in order to run with a 2.8GHz CPU. Author of FIX95CPU - Run Windows 95 on >2.1GHz Processors!

The latest USB supplement package will install something like "USB with HID support.". HID stands for Human Interface Device (funny how MS refers to us non electonic components) your mouse is an HID device.
