Jan 16, 2014 · As stated, you will need to be able to boot from a USB device if your machine supports it in the BIOS. Or, you will need to boot from a floppy and load a DOS USB storage driver. The latest USB supplement package will install something like "USB with HID support.". HID stands for Human Interface Device (funny how MS refers to us non electonic components) your mouse is an HID device.
