Apr 13, 2012 · Dear All, Just recently I have upgraded my terminal server from 4 GB RAM to 8 GB RAM but the windows 2003 standard edition installed in it shows on 4 GB of RAM. I had searched in Google to get a solution for this and from there I found one solution mentioning added the /PAE value in the system startup file.

Jul 07, 2011 · I have Server 2008 Enterprise running on a 32-bit processor and cannot get the system to recognize more than 6GB of RAM. If I put in 8GB, the system powers on to the BIOS (which recognizes the 8GB of RAM) and then restarts itself at the point where normally it would start to load the OS.
