Thanks to the generous support of employees, customers and suppliers, Canada Post has raised more than $2.5 million for the Foundation and hopes to raise another $2 million by the end of this year.

Funds will be used to help communities deliver mental health services to those in need, and to support families facing the challenges of mental illness.

The Foundation was formed when Canada Post adopted mental health as its cause of choice in 2007. Funds are raised a number of ways, including the sale of a special commemorative postage stamp, donations at post office counters during a fall fundraising campaign and contributions from Canada Post’s employees, customers and suppliers.
