May 13, 2009 · Though the Canon SX100 IS manual implies that the camera supports Remote Capture, Canon (for once) did not include enough detail. No instructions on how to do it. When I tried to use it, no luck. I even called Canon. The Tech Support guy was friendly, but he suggested that the SX100 IS probably doesn't support the feature.

Mar 08, 2012 · Remote Capture DC is used with the P&S cameras. The EOS Utility user's guide shows the T3 as being supported but I'd still give Canon a call just to be sure if this is critically important to you. My 300D/Digital Rebel does not show up in the list of supported cameras but I just tested it with the latest version of the utility and it appears to be working fine.
