I have a Cannon MX922, i am getting code "5011" cancel printing. Turn off and plug in, if problem persist call support. I did so and i am asking for help. did not work.

Oct 18, 2011 · Even though I had been using them in this particular printer, after I changed the color cartridge to another aftermarket one, I got the 5011 code. I tried all the suggestions to no avail. Then I put in a Canon OEM and the printer worked perfectly.

Jan 12, 2011 · I read your comments and tried turning off with lid open… didn’t work. I was so mad and frustrated with this printer that I finally just body slammed it 4 or 5 times on the desk, and it suddenly stopped showing the supoort code 5011 and printed stuff! I don’t get it.

Why Canon's engineer will not tell the user how to check the printer against code 5011. TSxxxx user need to know: 5011 means the scanner head failure, 5012 means the scanner driver system failure.
