Mar 05, 2008 · Hi, I'm new here and was wondering if there's a Hardware Compatibility List for CentOS somewhere out there. I'm in the process of building a server, but wanted to check for any recommended hardware.

Hardware Certification. CentOS does not provide any Certifications (Hardware, Software or otherwise), but you can look at the upstream hardware information as a starting point in troubleshooting if your hardware is supported by that source code. Since CentOS is built from the same source code, it should work on similar hardware.

Apr 12, 2014 · Hi, I'm unable to install CentOS 6.x with VirtualBox on Mac OSX 10.9. I've tried 6.4/6.5 both 32bit/64bit and always get the message "this hardware (or a combination thereof) is not supported by CentOS".
