My original question was how to enable VTK > support when building. There is no option to control this in the main > CMakeLists.txt. As I have said, the VTK support is not really a VTK support. If you really want to enable that piece of code, configure and compile CGAL after adding a CMake variable in your cache: cmake -DWITH_VTK:BOOL=TRUE

Since CGAL version 5.0, CGAL is header-only be default, which means that there is no need to compile CGAL or its libraries before it can be used.. This page is for advanced users that have a good reason to still use the old way. If this is not your case, head over back to the page Getting Started with CGAL.
CGAL is a software project that provides easy access to efficient and reliable geometric algorithms in the form of a C++ library. CGAL is used in various areas needing geometric computation, such as geographic information systems, computer aided design, molecular biology, medical imaging, computer graphics, and …

This work extends VTK to support polyhedron cells. This new cell type can be applied to computational fluid dynamics (CFD) and other similar applications. The work consists of two parts: Support of the new polyhedron cell type including: A new cell class called vtkPolyhedron that implements common APIs of …

Creating a CGAL Plugin for Paraview. This page is a tutorial detailing the creation of a CGAL plugin for the data analysis and visualization software Paraview. The different steps of the process are illustrated using code from a CGAL plugin that can run CGAL's isotropic remeshing algorithm on a triangle mesh given as a vtkPolyData object. This repository contains all the necessary source files ...

This page gathers links to external projects using CGAL. If you are aware of such other projects, we would appreciate if you could send us the corresponding information (name, URL, authors, company/university, category, used CGAL packages).. GeometryFactory also maintains an (incomplete) list of commercial customers of CGAL.. The list of projects using CGAL is ordered along the following ...
