May 31, 2016 · I'm not sure, if that transceiver is compatible with the cisco switch (as it seems to be also compatible with fibre channel). You may try to use the (undocumented) command "service unsupported-transceiver", but if it does not work or you have stability issues with that, do not expect cisco support to help you to solve that issue ...

Right now Cisco (or any other vendor I know of) doesn’t support BFD demand mode. Both modes also support something called echo mode. When a device sends BFD echo packets then the receiver will return them without processing them. When the sender doesn’t get the echo packets back, it knows something is wrong and will tear down the session.

Mar 27, 2013 · Hey, Probably a slighlty more different question to the usual, wasn't sure if this was the right place. I know the 3750 does not support GLBP which is a shame cause I may be forced to use the 3750 as it is a common piece of equipment in our network but I would like to use GLBP.
