Feb 12, 2018 · The 4500 series are layer 3 switches so come with more advanced features than a standard switch. The statement above also says they can only act as an IP SLA Responder, which is clearly very limited compared to routers which can use all of the IP SLA functions. I'm guessing it's a typo in that last statement and it should say router instead. Luke
