IBM has announced that the withdrawal of support for these version 7.5 product releases will be April 30, 2021. Since there are no follow-on releases clients are encouraged to discuss with their IBM account representative the options available to them for trading up their IBM Cognos Series 7 licenses to IBM Cognos Analytics and PowerPlay licenses.

IBM Cognos Series 7 Products are 32 bit applications, but can be run on supported 64 bit operating systems as outlined in the "Cognos Products and 64-bit Architecture" statement. This does not apply to Impromptu Web Report 7.5, it cannot be run on a 64 bit operating system in 32 bit mode.

Cognos 7 and Windows 7. We are running Cognos 7.3 and 8.3 ... environment on Windows 7, and cognos support windows XP, therefore they should do the same with XPMode. Mind you saying that we are talking about cognos 7.3 which requres windows XP and is not supported by cognos
