Hello once again, I believe Comcast will be supporting a specially designed version of this Cisco Modem in the very near future. It is my understanding that these are currently in trials and will be supporting wired 4 port connection, public Xfinity WIFI HotSpot 2.4G and 5G dual channel, and a private WIFI customer 2.4G and 5G dual channel.

My service provider is Comcast/ Xfinity. Please note that when dealing with Comcast you may have to go to tier 2 tech support to get it connected because they hate when you use your own equipment as they lose the monthly equipment lease fee.
