Jul 08, 2014 · CSM (Compatibility Support Module) resets to enable / can't disable it When I reboot it goes back to enabled automatically and this is driving me insane. I also have an external HDD (USB) that takes time to initialize and makes my POST last a long time and I want to tell the bios to ignore it and let windows handle it, but i dunno how to do this.

Aug 02, 2013 · I just updated the bios on my chv-f-z from 225 to 1402, the newest. when I boot, I post to a screen that says I have to go configure csm. it will not see my ssd as a boot device. all advice please. Thanks to Rgone at overclocers.com this is fixed. I had plugged my boot drive sata cable into an asmedia sata port, the two sata ports at the bottom of the stack of sata ports.
