Oct 28, 2010 · Slackware PHP PCRE compiled with no UTF-8 support. Hi there, Sorry but I cannot find any related thread on this forum so I post this one. My Slackware installed PHP's PCRE seems not compiled with utf-8 support as I run some framework test (therefore it fails the framework test #kohana).

In my opinion you UTF-8 files compile with windows-1252 because they doesn't contain special character. So they compile perfectly with ant and on the command line which use windows-1252 as the encoding sheme. Intellij use UTF-8 and your 3rd party file contains windows-1252 character. So it doesn't compile.
