Anyways, I am looking to rebuild python-2.7.11 (and 3.4.0, but am starting with 2.7.11) from source. It builds fine on my system, but I need it to build with ncurses, readline, ssl, etc support. when compiling Python 3.7.0 setup.py is reporting that the ssl module failed to compile due to missing support for X509_VERIFY_PARAM_set1_host() despite it existing in rsa.h for all versions of OpenSSL 1.1.0.
