    Jan 16, 2016 · CrashPlan does not support UNC, so using a UNC path or an IP address is not possible. The drive must be mounted to the filesystem in order for CrashPlan to read it. There are a few different unsupported workarounds, like the one previously linked, which can allow users to back up to or from mapped drives on Windows.
