The Crisis Intervention Team works with people in the Albuquerque Community who exhibit chronic behavior patterns that may pose risks to themselves or others. One of the team's primary goals is to ensure that situations involving people in crisis are defused so that force may be avoided and proper medical attention or referral to an appropriate follow-up agency is provided.
