If crosstool-NG breaks during the ct-ng build phase, please retry using a ct-ng build.1 command. If it also fails, please attach the build.log from ct-ng build.1 run (this command forces a non-parallel build, so the build takes longer but the log file is much easier to read).

Mar 21, 2007 · Subject: [gentoo-embedded] configure: error: forced unwind support is required Hi all, I'm new to Gentoo embedded and fairly new to Gentoo, so I apologize if I am missing something obvious. I'm having trouble getting the crossdev toolchain up and running with a current portage sync. Could someone please point me in the direction of fixing this?

Quoting the email I'm drafting to the ct-ng list: I've encountered a series of problems after enabling multilib support with CT_MULTILIB=y using gcc and glibc on amd64. These may also affect non-x86 64-bit targets with a 32-bit multilib target. When multilib support is enabled, --host=${CT_TARGET} is still blindly passed to glibc's configure, although ${extra_cflags} is set.
