For a list of USB DAQ devices supported by the latest version of DAQmx-Base, see NI-DAQmx Base 15.0.0 Readme.The last version of the NI-DAQmx Base driver available for download is 15.0.

However National Instruments does support RPM installers which are used on the Red Hat, Scientific Linux, and OpenSUSE operating systems. DAQmx Base 15 is the currently the best/only option for using that hardware in Linux. Check out the DAQmx Base compatibility matrix though. It should support the current versions of CentOS and RHEL.

Hello, For Linux support, please read this page : National Instruments Driver and Software Support for Linux Distributions. NI-DAQmx Base 15.0 is the most recent driver you can use, but it does not support cDAQ-9178 nor NI-9223. It seems it is not possible to use these harware with Linux. Best regards,

Possibly this is caused by shell install scripts calling /bin/sh and using bash-specific syntax. "ln -sf bash /bin/sh" before install solved it.
