Jun 11, 2010 · I'm trying to get darkice to work and everytime it tells me that Lame is not compiled. "DarkIce.cpp:569: DarkIce not compiled with lame support, thus can't create mp3 stream: icecast2-0" I have however installed everyhing: lame, libogg, libvorbis, faac and twolame.

Usually darkice configure trys to find out installed and usuable libraries (i.e. lame) make shure you installed the devel packages of them before - to get shure what will compiled in into darkice take a look at the end of output from ./configure. ./configure --help gives you a list of possible configutre options if required. hth Niels.
