    Oct 19, 2006 · I'm working with scripts but when I try to save it for example to the /etc/init.d directory i get the message that the file system is read-only. On the other hand, if I save a file in /tmp/root/ it get's deleted with each reboot, but i think this is due to fact that the /dev is mounted like 'ramfs'
