Nov 02, 2015 · The last I heard though it needs to be an actual Xbox controller, not a third party controller. I've played it with both the 360 and One pads, and it controls well. (If you're buying a new controller, personally I'd say go for the One one, just because the D-Pad's better, and of course new games will be designed around it's slight differences.

Aug 22, 2018 · Not a clue man. I've a Xbox One Controller and it isn't recognized, nor is the F510 controller. Usually, when you've followed all the steps to enable a controller to work, like the Steam Big Picture Controller Option stuff, and it still doesn't work is because something in windows is taking priority.

Aug 19, 2017 · It is simply steam overriding your controller so the game doesnt recognize it. Go in to steam big picture, then Dead Rising 2, manage game, controller options, and change it to FORCED OFF. Launch game. Done. As a side note... This works for ANY game where your controller option is "Greyed out". Hope this helps you.
