Oct 13, 2013 · Open advanced tab of controller and disable native mode. Uncheck force feedback. Click options. Set FakeWMI to be EnabledUSB. Set Fake DI to be EnabledCalback. Check of Fake WIN Trust. Leave the rest. Check if your buttons/axes are mapped properly. Save changes. Go to PC Settings and enable your controller (it won't be grayed out anymore).

Go in to steam big picture, then Dead Rising 2, manage game, controller options, and change it to FORCED OFF. Launch game. Done.
