Oct 11, 2018 · Dell hasn't (and won't) tested/validated any 4kn drives on the H700 in an R710, so 4kn is not supported. The fact it may work anyway leaves you right back where you started when you decided to buy a non-certified drive - you are completely on your own.

Does the PERC H700/H800 support SATA 6gb drives? I see where the PERC H700/H800 supports SAS 3.0 which is 6.0gb/sec for Serial Attached SCSI, but curious if that supports full speed on the newer SATA 3 6.0gb/sec drives.
