Mar 31, 2017 · I'm planning on attempting a stream of D1, 2 and 3 for Descent 1's birthday sometime in the future. I know D1x/D2X Rebirth will support my monitor's 1600x900 resolution, but Descent 3 was always an odd-ball. The resolution always seems to be stuck to one setting, and won't ever change for me, even if I select a new res.

Oct 21, 2012 · I'm having issues getting my Descent 3 to display at the proper resolution on my Vista 64 bit machine. Here's the command line I'm using:-height 1920 -width 1080 -framecap 999 -bumped -aspect 1.78 -nointro -nooutragelogo -z32bit -pilot Jazriel It displays at what I think is 800*600 for the main menu and everything else.
The downloads are ostensibly compatible with Windows, but it may take some tweaking to get them to run correctly. Rest assured that it is possible to get Descent 3 to run on Windows XP/Vista/7.
