Nov 13, 2006 · I use DG834GT from 2 years and works fine.I have changed recently to ADSL2+ 20Mbits but the line dropout often.My Setup:- ADSL 20M/38kbps connection- DG834GT mo ... I dont think that it is fair that we have to put up with this as you are supposed to have full support for ADSL2+ and its clear that it cannot handle this affectively.

Generally Netgear DG834GT is basically the modem/router of choice of many users, however Be do supply a standard Modem/Router from Thomson - the Speedtouch 585 (v6).

May 06, 2007 · Very interesting as I have just upgraded to ADSL2+ with Westnet and the speed is basically no better than 8MB speed I previously had, and Westnet are using Optus, could this be why support had no real answer to lack of increased speed (Telstra V Optus equip?) their main recommendation was to try another modem.
