May 26, 2009 · From the WAN side the jumbo size is 4K. From the LAN side the jumbo size is 9K. I'm running 9K with a DIR-655 on FW 1.31 (beta), connected to a DGS-2208, connected to a DNS-323. Not seeing any frame fragmentation or anything out of the ordinary. You'd be hard-pressed to find a cable or DSL modem that would support more than 4K over the internet.
