I have downloaded GPU-Z to check specs more accurate for my video card NVIDIA GTX 260 and it says that it support directx 11. Note this is not the directX of the windows, not checking with dxdiag.

Feb 10, 2015 · It says gtx260 is supported, but the game also requires directx 11, so one of the following 3 has to be correct. Any ideas? A) Is GTX 260 NOT supported and that was just a mistake in the requirements? B) Is it that directx 10 works fine? or C) Am I mistaken and the gtx260 actually does support dx11? Any help will be appreciated, thanks a lot.

Apr 05, 2011 · Which version of direct x is supported by a gtx 260m? While looking over the specs for my GTX 260m on the nvidia site it says that it supports directx 10. But when I ran dxdiag it says that i'm on DX11. So, which is it? Since I just downloaded dx11 will my video card be able to handle it?

On my game rig it will allow me to bench up to DirectX 10, but not 11. I know, GTX 260's aren't DirectX 11 compatible, but just for fun I thought I might try it to see what would happen and ..... nothing (as expected), it wouldn't even attempt to run the bench in DX 11.

Feb 02, 2010 · For the price of nVidia GTX 260 you could have purchased the ATi 5770 which gives same performance as GTX 260 and also has got DirectX 11. You should always do some market research before purchasing a card. Your card won't support more than DX10. And some one said the difference between DX10 and Dx11 is not that much.
