Aug 12, 2013 · The workaround is to manually remove any VS 2010 REDIST that is installed, run the legacy DirectX SDK or Windows SDK 7.1 setup, then reapply the latest VS 2010 REDIST. This bug does not exist in the latest VS 2010 REDIST packages nor does it exist in other versions of Visual C++.
