Nov 12, 2019 · Some older video applications may depend on DirectX 9 overlays to work correctly. In Windows 8.1, there are rare scenarios in which the DirectX 9 overlay hardware is not available. In these situations, video playback doesn't work. In Windows 10, those scenarios are still rare, but they may occur more frequently than in Windows 8.1.

Feb 12, 2016 · Now the player says that the video card does not support overlay. Although windows 8.1 with your latest drivers it works without problems. I used to verify Overlay support program that in the screenshot above. And the result is absolutely the same on any driver for windows 10 (Overlay enabled - False).Reviews: 15
