Nov 07, 2017 · If the BIOS doesn't support something through e820 or EFI tables, can I use the kernel command line to specify memory the BIOS doesn't report (i.e. memmap=xxxx)? My Linux kernel already has PAE enabled. I checked the PAE bit in the CPU and it's 0 while in the BIOS and 1 after Linux boots.
