Nov 11, 2008 · I've been trying to get the overlay working, and it keeps giving me this message: "Your video card does not support hardware video overlay.". Note that this is different from the "unable to allocate" messages that everyone else seems to get. I am running on Vista 32bit, with a GTX 280 card.

The overlay doesn't necessarily support stretching, and the one on my video card didn't. That means you have to have a swap chain at least as large as the output size and then do a 1:1 subrect Present(), and make sure you don't blow up during window animation when you get minimized.

Feb 12, 2016 · Video Card - R290. The name of the program uvfPlayer (this is the player for viewing secure video). Now the player says that the video card does not support overlay.
