Dec 02, 2008 · Read the instructions in those links, then read what I'm about to write here - the only problem I have left with implementing Time Machine with my DNS-323 is that when I use Disk Utility in OS X to create a sparsebundle image of 250GB, my MacBook tells me I can't create the image because I only have 147GB of space on my MacBook's HD.

Feb 12, 2012 · I am new on this forum, and i'm having troubles with my Mac system running Time capsule on the DNS-323. My Mac machines are running MAC OS X (10.7.3) while my DNS-323 runs latest firmware. And i can't get my time machine correctly configured. I couldn't get a telnet to the DNS drive and i can't even find the AFP Service in the Management console.

This has caused, after a major Windows 10 update, the network share previously available on the D-Link nas, to become not available to access from the Windows 10 machine.

Nov 11, 2008 · I recently upgraded to Leopard 10.5.4 mainly for the time machine backup. I'm using a DNS-323 in a RAID1 configuration as the TM backup drive. Also I have the DNS-323 connected to my Airport Extreme through the ethernet to give NAS ability to my home network.
