May 15, 2015 · Most games hides/disables the setting for PhysX if you have a AMD graphics card. It was different with Alice: Madness Returns or at least when i had my AMD card, i could turn on PhysX but the game would run horribly slow and as it should with PhysX off. As Rove says, your cpu will do the calculation instead.

Aug 02, 2016 · Havok isn't the same thing as PhysX. PhysX is a proprietary driver from Nvidia for use on Nvidia cards. It is possible to download PhysX drivers and use the CPU to render PhysX effects in some games but the AMD card in and of itself cannot run the PhysX driver.

I'm running into the same problem. I have 460 for my physx card and it won't run. If they officially say it only works on 700 series and better than ok. Still seems kind of odd that it would only work on 700 and up. The new physx drivers still support all the way back to the 9 series. Also The Witcher 3's physx works on the 460 as well for ...
