Jul 03, 2012 · There are no AMD motherboards of any type in existence that have a PCI Express x16 3.0 slot yet. That is because AMD has yet to have made a CPU and chipset combination available that supports PCI Express 3.0. PCI Express 3.0 is pretty new and there is not much of a difference between running at 2.0 and 3.0.

Nov 18, 2019 · Guys, I bought a MSI RX 5700 XT and in the main PCIe which is 3.0 16x I get random crashs every time, including system shutting down and everything. But the second I changed to the second PCIe slot which is 8x, everything ran fine. Almost a day and no crashs whatsoever. The slot is fine since my old GTX 670 and RX 580 works fine.Reviews: 13
