Nov 02, 2012 · PAE stands for Physical Address Extension. Normally a 32-bit of Windows install will only be able to access 4GB of RAM while essentially using only 3GB. PAE enables 32-bit processors to access more than 4GB RAM.

Aug 24, 2015 · I have the same problem upgrade to windows 10 for AMD Athlon 64 X2 5600+ processor 2.8 GHz fails since cpu isn't supported. Running SiSoftware shows that the processor supports PAE, NX, and SSE2. So big question is that even though the cpu supports all these features, the upgrade process still fails. Henri

Oct 11, 2013 · Any Core i7 will support those things. However, you can always download CPU-Z and it will tell you what features your CPU supports. Another options is to look here: Intel Core i7-640M Mobile processor - CP80617004152AE It doesn't say PAE, but you can rely on any 64 bit CPU supporting PAE.

Apr 30, 2006 · AMD Turion 64 processors also have sse3 support. Under System Profiler I see that sse3 is supported on my laptop with this processor. Works just fine.
