Apr 22, 2009 · Any good Full HD TV will also be HD-Ready. Full HD is defined by individual manufacturers and there is no standard/definition. Look for "HD-Ready 1080p" or "HDTV 1080p" to make sure it is really 1920x1080p and able to support 24p. HD-Ready has for some become a category distinct from Full HD but this is abuse of the definition.

HD Ready - well almost. My mum bought two TVs 3 years ago. Both were advertised as HD Ready. Both support 1080p.
