It has a 'Tools' function that provides an easy way to disable the. automatic startup of programs. So I just used it to disable the tasks. that the Self-Support Tool was starting. That did away with the icons. I figure I will only use SST occasionally, so I don't need the auto startup.

Dec 18, 2007 · I have AT&T internet, but I've never used a self support tool. I just call them if I need help. I don't trust that company, and I'd be careful about installing any of their software. They have about as much integrity as Yahoo, and it wouldn't surprise me if one of their downloads changes all my computer's settings and puts adware on my pc.
