I know this post is old, but I'm here to inform you that you can do WDS with Linksys EA4500. I did in my house and it worked perfectly. I used a Linksys EA4500 and TPLINK WL-WR941ND V5 (with openwrt firmware) and it works. Regards to all. Sorry for poor english. I used a translator.

Oct 16, 2009 · Both routers must support WDS. I would recommend to ask further questions regarding dd-wrt in the dd-wrt forum, in particular regarding the support of the WRT610N. Generally, dd-wrt is well tested if you don't use the latest test/beta releases. You should have no problem going back to Linksys firmware afterwards.
