Unfortunately, it sounds like you're not going to be able to afford the luxury of being a stay at home mom. I'm sure having a parent home is good for kids, but not everyone can do it. If you did get custody, you'd still owe your ex money, so I'm not sure you'd be entitled to support for a while.
