Re: Outbound Caller ID on T1 CAS. ANI in outbound T1 CAS is supported only for FGD-EANA signaling. If you have something like T1 loop-start, you cannot send out the calling number. Check with your telco, but if you want to make your life easier, you should get ISDN PRI, and a DID block.

Re: Caller ID on Digital T1 CAS fgd-eana is the only type of T1 CAS signalling that will support any type of ANI (Calling Number) and a lot of times that type of signalling is not available from the TELCO.

Having a T1 or another type of connection does not necessary mean you could getting the Caller ID transmitted over it. Rather the exchange must have the necessary terminal equipment to transmit the caller ID over the connection. So the simple answer is that if the carrier is unable to provide the service to you will not be able to get it.

Jan 24, 2005 · Caller ID can be delivered on a T1 in 2 ways. PRI T1 uses the last channel(D channel) of the T to deliver ID info as well as other important info required to send and recieve calls. It can also be delivered using feature group D inband signaling. The reason DDD shows up is you have the T1 route programmed as 00 in cm 3500.
