    Nov 20, 2007 · No, UPnP is not a feature of the AirPort base stations. Something similar that they do provide is NAT Port Mapping Protocol or NAT-PMP. From the AirPort Admin Utility, this option can be found on the Base Station Options > Ethernet Port Security tab.

    Since your airport isn't doing NAT as its in bridge mode and thus not acting as a router it makes no sense to try and enable NAT-PnP on it. You should look into turning on UPnP or NAT-PnP on the router for your network which I assume is the Verizon box, or forward the port yourself to plex.

Googling "NAT-PMP" together with what you're trying to achieve may perhaps get you somewhere. The source code for AirPort Utility is not open-source so you're not going to be able to find that.
