Sep 14, 2019 · Just like with Intel’s VT settings, AMD has their AMD-V setting. Both these enable virtualisation in all scenarios. Some sorts of virtualisation do not require them, but it would be a good idea to turn it on anyway. The setting is either on or off, and is a setting on the motherboard, no the CPU.

Sep 10, 2014 · Secondly, from what you have said the FX-8320E has enough performance to drive those 4-6 lightly-moderately used VMs. The FX-8320E can turbo to 4GHz for a single core if one of the VMs needs the extra performance and 3.2GHz for base frequency is more than enough for the rest of the VMs.
