Jan 24, 2013 · OP the time capsule has NAT-PMP which should work for you. I have never had problems with devices that need UPNP being used on NAT-PMP although the ps3 might still say UPNP is not available it should still work. If anything you can put your PS3 on a DMZ which will open up all ports to it. This is not good for PCs but a PS3 isn't really hackable.

Oct 15, 2015 · Since the time capsule router portion does not support UPNP, from what I have read you must manually forward the ports for the My Cloud drive. I gave the My Cloud a static IP address and then forwarded external ports 8080, 8443 and internal ports 80 and 443. I appear to be connected and am accessing my cloud remotely from outside the network.
